Classes Descriptions
Individual Lessons: Classical & Electric Guitar, Modern & Baroque Violin, Cello, Viola, Piano. All levels Individual instruction will be tailored to each students level of proficiency and will include work on technique, interpretation and music fundamentals. Guitar instruction will be available in classical, folk, jazz and rock styles.
Performance Class Students will perform in a public class. A teacher will both moderate and provide masterful guidance in the art of performing. Students will have the opportunity of performing a solo piece during the student concert at the end of the week.
Chamber Ensemble Class Student prepares pieces in mixed ensemble with voice, violin, guitar, to be performed in student concert at end of week. Coaching by one of the faculty members.
Baroque String Ensemble Open to all string players and led by conductor / violinist, Dale Stuckenbruck. The ensemble, comprised of students in the Instrumental Program and string players recruited from the community, will explore the baroque style and will perform as part of a festival concert.
Guitar Technique Class Morning warm-up; approaches to left and right hand technique; practice techniques; memorization and sight reading will all be discussed.
Guitar Ensemble Participants will be given music appropriate to their level of ability. They will form duos, trios and quartets. Each day there will be an ensemble coaching session where students will learn the intricacies of ensemble playing. At the end of festival students will perform their pieces.

US Students: a non-refundable deposit of $250.00 (US) is due by June 30, 2015. Balance is due July 15.
